The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) took on the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the Qualifier 1 match of the IPL 2025 season, with a chance to book a spot in the Grand final on June 3.

Having made the playoffs in four of the past five seasons, RCB have been a consistent side in recent years. Yet, they did not reach the final in any of these seasons and remain trophy-less even after 18 years in the league.
