Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) last home match at Chinnaswamy Stadium was shifted to Lucknow due to a threat of rain. Therefore, RCB took on the Sunrisers Hyderabad in match 65 of IPL 2025 at the Ekana Stadium.

RCB are one of the four teams to have secured their playoff spots and are now hoping to finish in the top two after the league stage. That would allow them to play Qualifier 1, which gives them two chances to qualify for the Final.

RCB vs SRH, IPL 2025: Live scorecard, match updates

End of the match: RCB 189; SRH won by 42 runs

The Royal Challengers have capitulated from 173/3 to 189 all out.

Salt looked dangerous for his 62(32) before getting out to Cummins.

Only Jitesh Sharma could add some firepower to the run chase, scoring 24(15) as Tim David's injury worsened their chances of chasing.

Cummins scalped 3/28 as SRH's best bowler, followed by Eshan Malinga's 2/37 that changed the match.

Ishan Kishan was named as the Player of the Match for his 94*(48).

End of 10 overs: RCB 118/1

Kohli fell shortly after the powerplay as Harsh Dubey got him off a delivery on the middle stump with some bounce.

Kohli cut it straight to Abhishek Sharma at point on 45(25) while his partner, Salt, is going strong at 55*(29).

Dubey is the pick of the bowlers with 1/20 in his two overs so far.

RCB need 114 from the final 10 overs to go top of the table.

End of powerplay: RCB 72/0

The Royal Challengers start their run-chase in some style as Kohli approaches another fifty — 42*(22) after 6.

Phil Salt, on the other end, after getting out on a no-ball earlier on, is playing second fiddle with 20*(15) to his name as the duo gets another fifty partnership.

None of the bowlers have been stand-out performers as of now as they are facing Kohli in some touch.

End of innings: SRH - 231/6

Hyderabad finished strongly at 231 for the loss of six wickets. Ishan Kishan missed out on his second ton of the season, as he finished at an unbeaten 94 runs off 48 deliveries which powered SRH to a mammoth total at the Ekana Stadium.

RCB's bowling flatered a bit in this match, as everyone was hit for a flurry of boundaries throughout the first innings. They need 232 to secure their ninth victory of the season.

End of 15 overs: SRH - 168/5

Half of the Hyderabad batting lineup has gone back to the dugout, with Nitish Kumar Reddy becoming the latest victim. Romario Shepherd took a rare wicket as his vicious bouncer had no answers from the Andhra Pradesh all-rounder.

Kishan (56) and Abhinav Manohar (1) will look to make the most out of the last five overs.

End of 10 overs: SRH - 113/3

Klaasen becomes the latest victim as he returned to the dugout after getting off to a good start. He scored 24 off 13 deliveries before finding the safe pair of hands of Romario Shepherd at long on. Suyash Sharma redeemed himself after getting hit for three consecutive boundaries.

Kishan (31) and Aniket Verma (3) will look to keep wickets in hand and maximize the runs at the same time.

End of powerplay: SRH - 71/2

After getting off to good starts, both the SRH openers, Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, have been sent back to the dugout. Sharma played well for his 34 before falling prey to Lungi Ngidi. Head scored 17 before he was dismissed by a slower delivery from the experienced Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Heinrich Klaasen (8) and Ishan Kishan (9) will look to build a partnership from here and take the innings forward.
