Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) took on Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in the IPL 2025 final on Tuesday, June 3.
PBKS and RCB occupied the top two spots respectively in the league stage and made it to the playoffs. In Qualifier 1, RCB demolished the Punjab-based franchise to book their berth in the final. Shreyas Iyer and Co., however, came back strongly and beat MI in Qualifier 2 to reach the grand finale.
Both teams were aiming for their first-ever IPL title as a mouth-watering clash was on the cards. Eventually it was RCB who clinched the title, winning the final by 6 runs.
