A big win for Punjab Kings that strengthens their chances of qualifying for the playoffs. They now move up to 2nd spot in the points table.
LSG never really found any momentum in their chase after a disastrous start, losing their top three cheaply to a fiery spell from Arshdeep Singh. Pant and Miller couldn’t rescue them either, leaving too much to do for the lower order.
Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad fought back well with an entertaining 81-run stand but the asking rate was always too high. PBKS held their nerve and wrapped it up comfortably in the end.

LSG sink further as the collapse continues! They lost two more big wickets during this phase - Captain Rishabh Pant and David Miller.
Pant looked in good touch with a couple of boundaries but fell then. Miller smashed a six but couldn’t last long either. Both were dismissed by Azmatullah Omarzai, who has been brilliant with the ball.
