Why has T Natarajan not played for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025 yet?
Delhi Capitals have played fantastic cricket in IPL 2025 and have won six out of ten matches so far, but they have also faced criticism for not including T Natarajan in their lineup.
The Delhi-based franchise revamped its squad this season as they retained only four players from last year and their auction strategy has paid off with a solid performance.
However, Natarajan, who was acquired for a hefty INR 10.75 crore, has yet to play a single game. He missed the first half of the season due to a shoulder injury sustained during the Tamil Nadu Premier League in July-August 2024.

Last year when he played for SRH, he was among the league’s top pacers, taking 19 wickets in 14 matches at an economy rate of 9.06.
Is T Natarajan fit to play now?
After missing several matches due to his shoulder injury, questions about Natarajan’s fitness have been a major concern for Delhi Capitals fans.
A recent video posted by Delhi Capitals on their official X handle provides clarity as he is seen practicing hard, bowling with full intensity in the nets and appears to have regained full fitness.
Natarajan was also seen catching up with SRH batsman Travis Head at the stadium as seen in the video posted. The two share a history, having played together at SRH.

Facing his former team at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, his inclusion could bolster Delhi Capitals’ bowling attack in this IPL 2025 clash.
