LSG got off to a good start, but the batters couldn't capitalise on it. After the well-set opening duo of Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram went back to the dugout, the DC bowlers pulled things back in their favour as they gave little room to the middle-order batters to play their natural shots.
The home team could only manage 159 runs in their stipulated 20 overs. DC lost opener Karun Nair early in the innings, but Abhishek Porel and KL Rahul smashed half-centuries to help the visitors secure a comfortable victory.
