KKR vs RR, IPL 2025: Live scorecard, match updates

That's all from us today! KKR win a thriller at Eden Gardens, take two points and keep their playoff run alive.

End of 20 overs: KKR win by 1 run

KKR were under pressure with Shubham Dubey hitting 16 runs (two sixes and a four) in the last over, bringing down the equation to 3 runs off 1 ball.

However, RR failed to take the second run on the final over. Rinku Singh's timely through brings about a runout. KKR win by one run.

Riyan Parag was earlier dismissed for 95 runs in the 18th over which was a big setback for RR, and they have now been eliminated from the playoff race.

End of 15 overs: RR - 155/5

The last five overs has given RR a massive boost, with Parag smashing five sixes in an over off Moeen. He hit the sixth six in a row on the first ball that he faced in the next over off Varun.

Parag 86*(38) and Hetmyer 28*(21) as the partnership builds up 84 runs, with the equation coming down to 52 runs off 30 balls.

End of 10 overs: RR - 82/5

RR lost three key wickets after the powerplay, with Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, and Wanindu Hasaranga returning to the dugout.

In the 7th over, Moeen struck for the second time in the match, removing another left-hander, Jaiswal (34), after a stunning catch from Rinku at long on.

The 8th over saw Varun Chakravarthy striking twice with his googly, dismissing Jurel and Hasaranga for ducks.

Parag and Hetymer have gradually begun building their partnership as the required run rate begins to pick up.

End of powerplay: RR - 59/2

Youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi couldn't replicate his match-winning innings against Gujarat as he fell prey to Vaibhav Arora in the very first over. Debutant Kunal Singh Rathore went back to the dressing room without scoring a run as Moeen Ali provided the breakthrough.

Yashasvi Jaiswal (32) and Riyan Parag (22) have started well and will look to take innings forward.

5:25 pm: The chase is underway! Yashasvi Jaiswal takes strike. Vaibhav Arora to start the proceedings for KKR.

End of innings: KKR - 206/4

KKR finish on 206 at the loss of four wickets in their quota of 20 overs. Raghuvanshi and Russel played brilliantly to help Kolkata set the stage for a grand stage finish.

Although Raghuvanshi missed out on his fifty, Russell scored his first half-century of the century. Rinku Singh hit two sixes and a four in the final over to take the score over 200.

RR need 207 to win to register their fourth win of the season.

End of 15 overs: KKR - 121/3

KKR are playing according to the conditions, as the pitch today at the Eden Gardens is a bit slower than expected. Captain Rahane fought well for his 24-ball 30 as he falls prey to the golden arm of Riyan Parag. Jurel took a good sharp catch behind the wickets.

Raghuvanshi (36) and Russell (2) will look to finish things off in style as they look to make the most out of the last five overs.

End of 10 overs: KKR - 86/2

KKR have lost both their openers as Gurbaz became the latest victim. He tried to hit over deep mid-wicket but Hetmyer makes no mistake at the boundary line. Theekshana provides the much-needed breakthrough.

Rahane (24) and Raghuvanshi (11) will look to build on the innings from here to provide the finishers a better platform.

End of powerplay: KKR - 56/1

Sunil Narine started well but fell to Yudhvir Singh after trying to slog a slower delivery. KKR have done a pretty good job in the powerplay as they look to maximize on the start they have got.

Gurbaz (24) and Rahane (18) will look to build a partnership here and keep the run-rate moving.

3:30 pm: And the game is underway in Kolkata! Rahmanullah Gurbaz takes strike. Jofra Archer will start the proceedings for RR.

3:00 pm: TOSS! Kolkata win the toss and chose to bat first in a must-win clash.

2:30 pm: The toss is scheduled at 3pm IST.
