He tested positive for a recreational substance after a match in South Africa earlier this year. He was provisionally suspended from April 3 to May 3.
The original ban was longer, but it was shortened after Rabada joined a drug awareness program and accepted responsibility.
Is Kagiso Rabada available for selection against MI?
Yes, he is. The one-month ban is now officially over and Rabada can return to action immediately. Titans captain Shubman Gill earlier hinted that the fast bowler could be back soon, and now there’s a strong chance he might feature in the MI game on Tuesday.
GT would be very happy to have a bowler of Rabada's experience back in the time as the IPL 2025 season has reached its business end and the team are well placed to qualify for the playoffs. He played just two matches this season before the suspension and picked up two wickets.
