Sai Sudharsan, the young left-hander from Gujarat Titans, made headlines after his brilliant knock in the IPL 2025 Eliminator.
GT was chasing a tough target of 229 against Mumbai Indians but the 23-year-old showed no signs of pressure. He lost his opening partner Shubman Gill early during the chase.
He kept rotating the strike, timed the ball well and found gaps with ease. It didn’t take him long to bring up his half-century as he got there in just 28 balls.

What makes Sudharsan' performance in the Eliminator so special?
Though Gujarat Titans were under pressure right from the start, especially after losing Gill in the first over, Sudharsan stayed focused. Mumbai’s bowling was tight, but he didn’t panic.
He attacked when needed and also knew when to slow down. It was a mature knock, the kind one would expect from a seasoned player, not a youngster. His chase was still the biggest takeaway of the match.
