The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 has come to a halt due to security concerns. Fans are left wondering whether they will get a refund for the tickets that they have already purchased before the suspension.

This development comes after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) declared that the IPL will be suspended for a week, citing increased tensions after India's recent military action, Operation Sindoor.

The match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) was suspended mid-way after air sirens were heard at Dharmashala. Roughly 80km from the venue was Pathankot, which was one of the sites which were targetted by drones from Pakistan.
Meanwhile, certain teams have announced refunds for their upcoming matches, which might be rescheduled to later dates.

IPL 2025: Will fans get ticket refunds for rescheduled matches?
Fans are very likely to get a refund of the tickets they had purchased for the respective clashes of their respective teams.
LSG and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were the first teams to announce that they will provide a ticket refund to their fans for the rescheduled matches.

The tweet read that the match between LSG and RCB on May 9, at the Ekana Cricket Stadium B Ground in Ardonamau, Lucknow, has been cancelled and details regarding the refund of tickets will be announced shortly.
