The former KKR and MI star believes Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are among the top contenders, as he also sent a strong message to Delhi Capitals, a team still hanging in the race.

Uthappa named RCB, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Titans, and Punjab Kings as the four sides he expects to make it through.

According to him, RCB look solid and close to sealing their spot. They’ve got 16 points from 11 games and just one more win could book their place.
PBKS also impressed him, and he even said if RCB don’t win the title, Punjab would be his next pick to lift the trophy.
What concerns did Robin Uthappa raise about Delhi Capitals?
While Uthappa mentioned he'd like to see Delhi do well, he didn’t hold back from pointing out problems. He was critical of the frequent changes in their playing XI, especially the constant switch in opening batters.
In his words, there needs to be stability. Injuries might be a reason, but he feels that without a settled lineup, a team can't perform consistently.
"I want to see Delhi too, but I don’t understand the changes they keep making to their team. In every other match, there’s a different opener. Settle your team! I know there are injuries, but even then, you need to find some consistency," said Uthappa.
How is the IPL playoff race looking now?
Heading into the final few games, RCB sit at 16 points, in a strong spot. Delhi, however, are stuck at 13, and they haven’t been in great form as they have won just once in their last five matches.
Teams like MI, GT, and PBKS are also breathing down each other’s necks, with each match now feeling like a knockout.
