The big moment came in Harshal’s third over. After going for some runs in his first two overs, he came back with a clever slower delivery that trapped Markram. With this dismissal, Harshal crossed a major career milestone.
How fast did Harshal reach the 150 mark?
With that wicket, Harshal reached 150 wickets in just 114 matches. This puts him second on the all-time list of fastest to that milestone in IPL history. Only Lasith Malinga, the Sri Lankan pace legend, did it faster as he got there in 105 games.
That also means Harshal is now the fastest Indian to take 150 IPL wickets. He broke Yuzvendra Chahal’s record, who needed 118 matches to reach the same number.
