GT vs CSK, IPL 2025: Live scorecard, match updates

That's all from our side, thank for following today's live blog.

Victor for CSK! GT bundled up for just 147 runs as Chennai end the 2025 season with a massive 83-run win. Anshul Kamboj and Noor Ahmed end up with three wickets each.

After 16 overs: GT 127/8

Chennai are on the verge of scripting a win and end their miserable season on a brighter note as GT lose eight wickets for 126 runs in 16 overs.

End of 12 overs: GT 97/5

Gujarat are struggling right now. They have lost half of their side even before posting 100 runs. Chennai are inching closer to a victory.

End of powerplay: GT 35/3

What a start for CSK while defending their massive total. Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler go back to the pavilion as GT lose three wickets for just 35 runs. Chennai look to be in the driver's seat.

End of innings: CSK 230/5

CSK have put up their best batting show of IPL 2025 -- finishing on a massive 230/5. This is their highest total of the season and their most sixes (15) in an innings this year.

Dewald Brevis was the star. He smashed a 23-ball 57 with 5 sixes -- including a brutal assault in the death overs. Ravindra Jadeja chipped in with a handy cameo while every batter who walked in made a meaningful contribution.

The last 7 overs went for 57 runs as CSK kept the momentum going despite Prasidh Krishna bowling a terrific spell (4-0-22-2). This is now the 9th 200+ score at Ahmedabad this season -- the most ever at a single venue in IPL history.

GT have conceded 230+ in back-to-back games and they will need something special from their top order to pull off this chase.

End of 13 overs: CSK 150/3

CSK continues to pile on the pressure with a flurry of boundaries. Devon Conway and Urvil Patel built a solid partnership and kept the scoreboard ticking.

Coetzee was expensive in his second spell while Rashid Khan had a tough time as well. A big moment came when Shahrukh Khan dropped Urvil at long-on -- a miss that could have proved costly.

But Sai Kishore struck soon after to dismiss the dangerous Urvil. Shivam Dube walked in and wasted no time.

He smashed a six first up but got dismissed trying to go big again -- caught at long-on off Shahrukh. Dewald Brevis then came and hit a boundary first ball.

CSK brought up their 150 in the 13th over -- looking in great shape with Conway going strong.

End of powerplay: CSK 68/1

CSK have had a blazing start in the Powerplay! After a quiet first over from Siraj, young Ayush Mhatre went berserk in the second -- smashing Arshad Khan for 28 runs.

That was CSK’s second-biggest over this season. He took on both the short and full deliveries with style.

He was dismissed to a clever slower ball from Prasidh Krishna in the 4th over. That wicket didn’t slow things down much. This is CSK's their highest Powerplay score of the season.
