An absolute hammering. Chasing a daunting target of 200, Gujarat Titans' openers made it look like a walk in the park, cruising home with a full over to spare without losing a single wicket.
Sai Sudharsan was in beast mode from the start, taking the attack to DC’s bowlers. He scored his 2nd IPL century today. Shubman Gill was calm and calculated early on, anchoring the innings before shifting gears and matching Sudharsan stroke for stroke through the middle overs. He was just seven runs shy of his own century.

Gujarat Titans continue their impressive charge as they reach 93 for 0 at the end of 10 overs. The openers, Shubman Gill (36* off 26) and Sai Sudharsan (55* off 34), are putting on a batting clinic once again.
In the last 4 overs, GT have added 34 runs. Sudharsan brought up his half-century in style, while Gill continues to rotate strike and pick off boundaries when needed.
With wickets in hand and a strong foundation laid, Gujarat will be eyeing a big acceleration in the next few overs. The required run rate is still hovering above 10, so the real push is expected to come soon.

Another strong start by Gujarat Titans. What form Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill are in right now. From the get-go, Sudharsan was on the attack, dismantling Natarajan in the second over for 20 runs and keeping the momentum going against Axar as well.
Gill, meanwhile, played the perfect anchor, rotating strike and finding the boundary when needed. Despite a couple of tight overs, the Titans still cruised to 59 for no loss at the end of the powerplay. It has been all class and calculated aggression from the opening duo.

KL Rahul put on a batting masterclass as Delhi finish with 199/3 in their 20 overs. Rahul brought up his fifth IPL hundred in style -- finishing unbeaten on 112 off 65 balls.
He scored well in the death overs -- smashing sixes and a reverse ramp that had Gujarat hilariously wasting a review. Tristan Stubbs had a fiery cameo of 21* off 10 balls.

DC picked up pace through the middle overs with some clean hitting from both KL Rahul and Abishek Porel. Rahul kept rotating the strike and punished the loose balls and Porel played the aggressor’s role with a couple of powerful sixes -- one flicked stylishly over backward square and another straight down the ground.
Rabada’s return in the 11th over was expensive with 17 runs coming off it - including two sixes. But just when the partnership looked good, Sai Kishore broke through in his very first over.
He dismissed Porel for 30 off 19 balls with an outside edge and was taken safely by Buttler.

Delhi Capitals got off to a cautious start after opting for yet another new opening pair in KL Rahul and Faf du Plessis. Rahul hit a couple of boundaries in the first over and du Plessis struggled to find his timing and eventually got dismissed out for 5.
Arshad Khan kept things tight early on and got the breakthrough. The DC were going nowhere at 28/1 after 5 overs but KL turned up the heat in the final over of the powerplay.
He smashed Rabada for two sixes and a four for the much-needed momentum. It looks like a good batting pitch and they will need at least 180 on the board to stay in the game.
