How does Digvesh Rathi celebrate after picking wickets in IPL 2025?

Rathi first brought out the unique celebration in LSG's clash against PBKS, where he scribbled on his hand, using it as an imaginary notebook before gesturing a send-off with his finger to Priyansh Arya.

He performed a similar celebration against MI after picking up Naman Dhir's wicket, and on both occasions, the BCCI fined the bowler heavily.

Did Aakash Chopra take a dig at Virat Kohli and the BCCI?

On Monday, former India batter Aakash Chopra shared a cryptic post on the social media platform X, where he wrote: "Rathee was fined for his notebook celebration. Poor kid has starting scribbling on the ground now."

While it is not clear whether Chopra intended to take a dig at anyone, the post came a day after Virat Kohli's wild celebration on the pitch, mocking PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer after RCB's win in Mullanpur, went viral.

Chopra might have also hinted at BCCI's double standards as Kohli walked away scott-free, while youngsters like Rathee were fined heavily.
