Real Madrid set to make big sacrifices over summer to fund new transfers image

Real Madrid have made a big splash in the transfer pool already, with the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen being unveiled as two new players arriving from the Premier League.

Two more names are set to join the club after the Club World Cup: Franco Mastantuono from River Plate and Álvaro Carreras from Benfica.

With big money being spent, Real will likely have to sell a player or two to fund their transfers. Two big names are expected to be considered for a potential move away from Real Madrid.

Who could be moving on from Real Madrid?

Rodrygo Goes and Eduardo Camavinga are the two names that could leave Real Madrid over the summer, according to Javi Herráez in El Larguero of Cadena SER.

Herráez said, "Someone will leave. What happened last season is something that has never happened. The fact that Kylian Mbappé arrived and then no one came out had never happened before."

Rodrygo has been linked with a move to Arsenal, so it would be likely that he is the one to go. Xabi Alonso is said to be working hard to keep Rodrygo, but the player might force a move away from the club.

Camavinga struggled in the 2024/25 campaign, which could indicate it's time for him to go, too. The youngster shows great promise, and he'll likely have lots of interest in him, should Real Madrid try to move on.
