Defending La Liga champions FC Barcelona will be back in action following a lengthy break after their grueling 2024/25 season.

After an impressive first season as Barcelona's manager, during which he helped them secure the domestic treble and reach the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League, Hansi Flick faces high expectations when he starts the 2025/26 season on July 27.

The club's pre-season Asia tour begins in Japan against Vissel Kobe. Then Barca will head to South Korea for a couple of fixtures before the annual Joan Gamper Trophy at home.

Ahead of the start of the season, the Blaugrana have signed the young Spanish goalkeeping sensation Joan Garcia from the derby rivals Espanyol to fix their long-standing goalkeeping woes.

The Spanish champions have also secured the signing of England forward Marcus Rashford on a season-long loan from Manchester United, which further boosts their attack.

The first-team departures ahead of the pre-season include the duo of Pablo Torre and Pau Victor, who have joined RCD Mallorca and SC Braga, respectively in search of regular game-time.

The key players to watch will be Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, and Pedri, alongside the famous high backline led by Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez.

As FC Barcelona begins its season with the aim of lifting the UCL, which has eluded them for a decade, TSN brings you all the details about their pre-season below.
