The Indian men's team have been clubbed in Group A alongside China, Bangladesh and Myanmar while the women's team are in Group B alongside Chinese Taipei and Thailand.
The Asian Games was due to be held in 2022, but was delayed by a year to the COVID-19 pandemic and starts in September.
