Man Utd player sparks more questions after non-committal answer over future image

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana had a season to forget in his second year with the club. The Cameroonian struggled to maintain any consistency in his performances, which has led to questions over his future.

Onana is now on vacation before he's supposed to rejoin the team for preseason training and matches. The goalkeeper was asked about his future, and his answer has caused even more uncertainty over whether the 29-year-old will leave Manchester United this summer.

What did Andre Onana say about his future?

In a video captured by journalist Stéphane Bassalia Ouattara Onana was questioned on whether he will leave Manchester United ahead of the 2025/26 season. The goalkeeper responded with, "Will I leave? I don't know, we'll see!"

Onana seemed unbothered by the question, even smiling and laughing as he answered. His failure to give a confident answer has many fans believing he could be on his way out.

The goalkeeper served as Ruben Amorim's number one throughout the season but only kept nine clean sheets in the Premier League. Onana conceded 44 goals in the league and had three errors that led to goals.

There have been talks of a potential move to Saudi for Onana, with multiple clubs interested in the keeper. Nothing concrete has been discussed, but some clubs would be willing to buy Onana.

United has also been linked to several other goalkeepers which could point to Amorim's desire to replace Onana or provide him with more competition.
