Jadon Sancho is nearing the end of his Manchester United journey, with a permanent move to Juventus now said to be in its final stages.
The 25-year-old winger, once billed as the next big thing at Old Trafford, is set for a fresh start in Italy after a rollercoaster few seasons in England.
Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea, where he delivered five goals and ten assists. Though he showed glimpses of his talent, the London side opted not to sign him permanently.
His time at United has been marked by inconsistency and a public fallout with former boss Erik ten Hag, effectively pushing him out of the club’s future plans.
Now, it seems Juventus are ready to take a chance. According to reports (via Teamtalk), the Italian giants have reached a verbal agreement with Sancho for a four-year deal worth £5.2 million per season.
The Red Devils have also reportedly agreed to lower their asking price, settling for a £15 million transfer fee — a far cry from the £73 million they paid Borussia Dortmund in 2021.

From a financial point of view, the move may not be a home run, but it clears the air — and the wage bill. Sancho’s high salary had become a roadblock in United’s rebuilding process.
With Ruben Amorim now steering the ship, United are bringing in fresh faces like Matheus Cunha and chasing others like Bryan Mbeumo.
Offloading Sancho also makes space for new wide options, as Garnacho and Antony could also be shown the door. The Red Devils need sharper tools up front, and Sancho simply hasn’t cut it in the Premier League.
While United won’t make back their investment, the deal puts an end to a long saga and helps them move forward. And for Sancho? It’s a new league, a new start — and hopefully, a return to the player he once was in Dortmund.
