Manchester United might be waving goodbye to one of their brightest young stars this summer. Alejandro Garnacho, just 20, is reportedly on the move after a rocky end to the season under new manager Ruben Amorim.

Garnacho has been at the heart of transfer rumors for months.

But now, former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders has shed light on the real reason behind the potential exit. It’s not about talent. It’s about trouble on the training ground.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Saunders said, "I like him as a player. He plays with his heart on his sleeve, and there's a load of them who don't at Man United. But from a good source, I heard he's arguing with the manager on the training pitch about tactics. How old is he, 20? Just get on with it."

There’s no doubt Garnacho brings spark to United’s attack. But with new boss Amorim trying to reshape the squad, character seems to matter as much as skill.

Garnacho’s disagreements with Amorim — and reportedly Marcus Rashford too — suggest friction behind the scenes.

Saunders comments on what Man Utd needs this summer

Saunders didn’t hold back on what he thinks United need this summer: "Man United have signed bad characters, and you've got to start signing good characters. Forget the talent."

That’s a tough red card for Garnacho’s attitude.

Though Napoli once had a £40 million bid turned down, United could now listen to offers in the region of £70 million. Several Premier League clubs — including Chelsea, Arsenal, and Aston Villa — are interested.

Even Garnacho’s former side Atletico Madrid and German champions Bayer Leverkusen are keeping tabs.

Garnacho, who came through United’s youth ranks, would count as pure profit on the books. But his departure could also be another sign that United’s rebuild is just as much about chemistry as it is about quality.
