Manchester City are expecting to offload several players this summer with Kevin De Bruyne already joining Serie A champions Napoli after he failed to sign a new contract with Pep Guardiola's side.

De Bruyne has reportedly spoke to Napoli boss Antonio Conte and encouraged the Italian coach to launch another summer transfer raid on the Etihad Stadium.

Napoli already boast a handful of ex-Premier League players, with Scott McTominay headlining the bunch, after the Scotland star produced a standout first season at the club.

Who does Kevin De Bruyne want to reunite with?

De Bruyne is aiming to link up with Jack Grealish at Napoli. Reports from Sun Sport suggest Conte has also asked De Bruyne about the City No.10 and what he could potentially bring to the club.

Grealish, who was left out of City FIFA Club World Cup squad, is almost certain to be leaving Manchester this summer.

The England international is willing to take a cut in wages, if it leads to more playing more, and the chance to get back into Thomas Tuchel's squad for the 2026 World Cup.

De Bruyne is keen on Conte making a move for Grealish and Napoli are rumoured to be open to spending £45m [$60m] on a new winger, which would be a huge loss in profit for City.

The Italians have also been linked with Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho, but Conte will only sign one winger, and Napoli currently prefer Grealish, but Garnacho could be a good investment over a longer period.

Grealish played a minimal role in City's 2024/25 campaign, but the winger could be revived under Conte.
