Barcelona goalkeeper Inaki Pena is set to leave the club before the La Liga transfer window closes on September 1.

According to Spanish transfer outlet Fichajes, the 26-year-old stopper is in advanced talks to secure an exit, with several sides showing interest.

Serie A club Como have emerged as a serious contender to sign him, on a deal until June 2028, as part of an ambitious project led by former La Blaugrana star Cesc Fabregas.

Pena has been with Barcelona since joining the academy at 13, but his first-team role has primarily been as an understudy, and his opportunities remain limited.

Pena has now been relegated to fourth choice in behind summer signing Joan Garcia, Wojciech Szczesny and Marc-Andre ter Stegen - with the latter reclaiming the club captaincy following a resolution over a medical dispute to free salary space to register Garcia and Szczesny with La Liga.
