In just one and a half years in international cricket, Yashasvi Jaiswal has already established himself as one of the most consistent and trusted batters in the Indian Test team.
On Saturday, Jaiswal completed his sixth century in just 24 matches as he hit a brilliant hundred against England in India's second innings in the fifth Test.
With almost all top-order batters collapsing early, it was important that Jaiswal held on to the crease and posted a big score on board for India to hold a chance of winning the final Test and draw level in the series.

And the southpaw did exactly the same and delivered when it mattered the most. Along with night watchman Akash Deep, who scored 66 runs earlier in the day, Jaiswal made sure that India's lead comfortably crossed 200 runs.
With the hundred at The Oval, Jaiswal became only the second Indian batter to score more than five centuries for India in Test matches before turning 24.
In the list of most Test hundreds scored before turning 24, Sachin Tendulkar is at the top and he is now followed by Jaiswal. The other members in the list are Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar and more.
