Sanju Samson is all set to make his debut in the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) 2025 after he was made the highest-paid player in the auction.

The India star will represent the Kochi Blue Tigers (KBT) in the second season of the league after being bought for a whopping 26.8L a few days back.

He will notably be sharing the dressing room with his brother Saly Samson, who was also bought in the auction for 75,000 by the KBT.

Who is Saly Samson? The brothers set to represent the same team in KCL 2025?

Born on May 1, 1991, Saly is the elder sibling of Sanju Samson, who was a part of KBT in the inaugural season in 2024 as well.

The 34-year-old is a batter who can bowl seam-up deliveries as a part-time bowler.

He has played in 6 List A matches and managed to score only 38 runs at an average of 7.60 and the high score of 15.

In the inaugural season of KCL, he played against the Calicut Globstars and Alleppey Ripples but did not bat in either match.

In KCA's State T20 League 2025, he batted thrice and scored 35 runs while bowling 6 overs for 47 runs through the course of the tournament.

When will the Kerala Cricket League 2025 start?

KCL 2025 is all set to begin on August 22 and will be played till September 7 among 6 teams.
