Indian youngster, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has been making a lot of headlines in the last 10-12 months, has once again turned up for India U19 in their 6-wicket win over the England U19 side.

The opener first came into the news when he scored a 58-ball-100 against Australia U19 in 2024 during one of the Youth Tests in Chennai before he was picked up in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction by the Rajasthan Royals.

After breaking multiple records upon scoring a century against the Gujarat Titans in Jaipur, the left-handed bat returned to the U19 duties with India's tour of England.

The boy notably rocked up in England in some style as he also wore the iconic number 18 that has been immortalized by the former U19 World Cup-winning skipper, Virat Kohli.

India conceded just 174 runs after being asked to bowl first, while bowling out the hosts at Hove in just 42.4 overs with a 56(90) for Rocky Flintoff and 42(28) for Isaac Mohammed while three India bowlers took 2-wickets each alongside 3/20 in 10 overs for Kanishk Chouhan.

As Suryavanshi stepped out to bat with the captain and another young sensation, Ayush Mhatre, the southpaw went all guns blazing to get 48(19) with 3 fours and 5 sixes to his name.

As India went on to chase the total in just 24 overs by 6 wickets spare, fans also noticed him wearing the 18 number that has been very important for the Indian team for the last 17 years and with a lot of emotions and memories attached to it and pointed it out.

This was contrary to the opener wearing number 12 for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL season where he got 252 runs in 7 innings that included a century while he struck at 206.55 in the season.
