Rishabh Pant got to another well-made fifty in the series as he stitched a 141-run partnership with KL Rahul after coming in to bat at 107/3.

Despite his finger injury, Pant made sure India did not collapse and reached his 4th fifty-plus score of the series.

In the process of scoring 74(112) before the brain-fade run-out on the brink of lunch, he got into a fun banter with England opener Ben Duckett and silenced him in style.

Rishabh Pant silences Ben Duckett in a fun banter at Lord's

As the Indian wicketkeeper-batter was trying to help India in their 387-run trail, he had a fun conversation with Duckett.

During the morning session of Day 3, slip fielder Duckett came up to Pant and asked if they were just batting for a draw. Check out the conversation below.

"Just batting for a draw?" asked Duckett before Pant hilariously responded by telling him that he is just imitating the Englishman. "Same like you," Pant replied.

Duckett told Pant about the balls nipping on Day 1 while he was batting.

"[It] is still nipping," Pant said as the day moved on.

Following Pant's dismissal in the last over before lunch, India went on to level England's 387 runs through Ravindra Jadeja (72), Nitish Reddy (30) and Washington Sundar (23).

KL Rahul also added his name to the honours board of the Lord's with back-to-back centuries at the venue.
