The Indian coaching staff were on cloud nine after Shubman Gill and Co registered a dramatic six-run win over England in the fifth and final Test of the five-match series, as it ended 2-2.

Mohammed Siraj's Day 5 heroics guided India to a memorable victory as the fast bowler claimed a fifer and nine wickets in the Test match overall.

India headed into a series without their stalwarts Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who announced their retirements from the Test format just a month before the tour commenced.

A new-look Indian side, under the leadership of a young captain Gill, did a phenomenal job to hold the hosts to a draw at their den.

The fifth Test match had its own challenges as two star Indian players, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah, missed the game, due to fitness problems, however, a resilient Indian side emerged triumphant against all odds.
