The Madhya Pradesh T20 League is back and this time, it’s bigger. After a successful inaugural edition, the 2025 season kicks off June 12 at the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior.
Originally set to begin May 27 in Indore, the tournament was pushed back due to the IPL’s delay and early monsoon rains. That change brings the league back to its original home (Gwalior) for a second straight year.

What started as a five-team contest has now expanded to seven, signaling just how fast this homegrown league is gaining momentum. Jabalpur Royal Lions return as defending champions after beating Bhopal Leopards in last season’s final.
They’ll be joined again by Gwalior Cheetahs, Rewa Jaguars, and Indore Pink Panthers. Two new teams, Chambal Ghariyals and Bundelkhand Bulls, have entered the fray and will compete in both the men’s and women’s tournaments.
The league is run by the Gwalior Division Cricket Association under the guidance of the MPCA and remains a vital launchpad for local talent chasing IPL dreams.
