Dewald Brevis, the 22-year-old young star from South Africa, entered his name in the history books. He became the eighth overall and the youngest South African to score a T20I century.

The batter achieved this feat during South Africa's second T20I against the mighty Australians, being played at Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin. 

Brevis, with his superb ton, joined the list of the youngest batters to score a T20I century against a Test-playing nation. He accompanies former MI teammate Tilak Verma in the top 5 list.

Brevis joins Tilak Varma in youngest centurions list

Brevis entered the elite list of batters when he piled on 125 runs against Australia. The young batter brought up his century in just 41 deliveries and ended with 125 off 56 balls at a staggering strike rate of 223.21.

Brevis also went a step ahead of his hero AB de Villiers, who has never scored a T20I century in his international cricketing career.
