Prasidh Krishna was in fine rhythm on Day 2 at The Oval, finishing as India’s best bowler with career-best figures of 4/62.
The lanky pacer helped India restrict England to 247 and concede only a 23-run lead, keeping India in the series decider.

One of the highlights of his spell in England's first innings was a tense exchange with Joe Root, the English batter, who seemed visibly rattled and reacted strongly.
Root was eventually dismissed rather cheaply at 29 in the same session, and Krishna revealed what panned out in the middle at the end of the day.

What happened between Root and Prasidh at the Oval?
The England legend came in to bat at 129/2 after a strong start by the opening duo of Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley in the morning session.
Interestingly, just balls after dismissing Crawley for 64, Prasidh Prasidh immediately tried to unsettle Root with a few words.
Root got off the mark with a square-driven boundary and looked visibly animated in response. The umpires, along with Indian captain Shubman Gill and KL Rahul, were seen stepping in to calm things down.
However, all was well by the end of the day, as Prasidh clarified the banter with Root, with whom he had spent a season at the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
"I don't know why Rooty [reacted like that]. I just said, 'you're looking in great shape' and then it turned into a lot of abuse and all of that," Prasidh told the BBC.
"Well, it is a very small thing, I think it was the competitive edge amongst us that was coming out. Both of us are good mates off the field, it was a little bit of banter and both of us enjoyed it."
Mohammed Siraj later dismissed Root on a scrambled seam delivery that came back in from short of good length to hit his front pad -- he reviewed the umpire’s LBW decision but had to walk after the big screen showed three reds.
India ended the day at 75/2, courtesy of a blistering unbeaten fifty from Yashasvi Jaiswal (51*).
India currently lead by 52 runs in the final Test and are looking to tie the series 2-2.
