Jasprit Bumrah was all over England's middle order, picking up three wickets in the morning session on Day 2 at the Lord's.

After cleaning up the pair of captain Ben Stokes and centurion Joe Root early on, Bumrah was right on the money when Chris Woakes came in to bat at number 8.

Woakes was dismissed for a golden duck after India skipper Shubman Gill nailed a last-second review for an inside-edge. Here's how things panned out.

Chris Woakes vs. Jasprit Bumrah: How did the review unfold?

The incident took place when Woakes came into bat after Bumrah dismissed Root, who was bowled for 104 runs.

At the 87.2-over mark, the Indian speedster bowled a delivery outside the off stump, which was chased by Woakes and collected behind the stumps by substitute-keeper Dhruv Jurel.

The umpire was unmoved and even Bumrah was not convinced. However, the slip cordon led by KL Rahul appeared to hear a sound, possibly of an edge and appealed.

"They're all going up. Heard some sound. What was that noise?," asked Ravi Shastri in the commentary box.

As discussions continued, the Indian captain Shubman Gill turned to Bumrah. The pacer suggested that if the slip cordon had heard a sound, it must have definitely been off the bat.

"Jasprit Bumrah says, ‘It can only be the bat. If you heard a noise, otherwise nothing else.” Shastri said, noting what he had picked up on the stump mic.

Gill chose to review with under two seconds left on the timer. The decision was eventually overturned on review and went in India's favour. Woakes' golden-duck dismissal was also Bumrah's fourth wicket in the first innings at Lord's.

Notably, Ravindra Jadeja also joined the slip cordon in appealing, even though neither the bowler, the keeper, nor the batter appeared to sense an edge.
