Since the time Jasprit Bumrah made his debut, he has grown into becoming one of the finest fast pacers of this generation and arguably the most important player of the Indian Test side.
Over the last year or so, his stature has further improved, as India has looked rather clueless when he is not bowling away from home. It is not that others do not have the skillset to deliver the quality, but the difference in quality between him and the others is startling.

After scalping 32 wickets in 9 innings against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at an incredible average of 13.06, he has returned to the longest format with a 5/83 at Headingley against England to help India with a slender six-run lead.
Appreciating his greatness, former England pacer Steven Finn has put him among the greatest and called him the most complete pacer ever.
What did Steven Finn say about Jasprit Bumrah?
At the end of Day 3 of the Headingley Test, the former England bowler heaped praise on Bumrah in his latest BBC column, comparing him to the best bowlers of all time.
While explaining the biomechanics of Bumrah's bowling, Finn compared it to a catapult where the ball comes to the batter at 90 mph.
"The ball starts in his unique load-up point. Imagine a clock face and Bumrah's action from behind. His fully straightened arm points to the number two. His arm then comes quickly down into his bowling arc, but as it comes through to deliver, his elbow hyper-extends. This is where he gets some of his pace from - the ball disappears behind his elbow and the batter momentarily loses sight of the ball," he wrote.

"Bumrah's forearm then catches up with the rest of his arm, he cocks his wrist and is ready to unleash whatever delivery he has chosen. It's like a catapult. At the very last millisecond, the ball is back in the batter's view, hurtling at somewhere around 90mph," Finn added.
Finn went on to name his former teammates, James Anderson and Stuart Broad, among others, but put Bumrah ahead of the rest while justifying all his opinions with numbers.
"We're lucky to be in an era of great fast bowlers. From recent international retirees Stuart Broad and James Anderson, to Kagiso Rabada, Cummins, Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc."
"Bumrah sits atop of them all as the finest fast bowler to have played the game. Some accolade," he concluded.
