IND vs ENG Tests: What is India's Test record without Jasprit Bumrah? Wins, losses and SENA stats explained image

India stepped onto the field for the second Test of the England tour at Edgbaston without Jasprit Bumrah. He was not injured but according to Indian captain Shubman Gill, it was part of a pre-planned workload management strategy.

Bumrah's rest for that Test came after his impressive 5/83 in the first innings of the series opener at Headingley. While India lost the match, he remained the standout bowler for India.

In Bumrah's absence, Mohammed Siraj led the Indian pace attack, with Prasidh Krishna and Akash Deep to support him.
