On Friday, November 29, BCCI unveiled the new Indian ODI jersey with women's captain, Harmanpreet Kaur at the launch.

The Indian skipper was also accompanied by BCCI secretary Jay Shah at the launch event ahead of India's upcoming series.

This is also the first time that the Indian women's side will be wearing the jersey before the men's side who are currently in the middle of the Test tour of Australia.

Captain and middle order batter, Kaur also expressed her happiness of unveiling the jersey that they will wear against the West Indies.

"It's an honor to unveil the jersey today and really happy that we are the first ones to wear this jersey against the West Indies," said Harmanpreet.

"It's good to have a special ODI jersey. It's always special to wear the Indian jersey after all the hard work that goes behind the scenes. I hope the fans like it and wear it with pride," she added.
