2025 has been a year of joy for the Indian ODI team, as they finally clinched an ICC trophy by winning the Champions Trophy 2025 title, beating New Zealand in the final.

It was redemption for Rohit Sharma and Co. after the heartbreak in Ahmedabad in 2023, when a high-flying Indian team tragically went down against Australia in the ODI World Cup final.

While India won the T20 World Cup in Barbados a year ago, the wounds were still fresh, as an ODI title still eluded the Men in Blue.

However, that changed in the UAE as India dominated the ICC Champions Trophy, winning all of their games, including victories over arch-rivals Pakistan in the group stage and a win over Australia in the semi-final.

While the fans did witness the Indian players celebrating with the trophy at the ground, they did not get a chance to see what transpired in the dressing room and the conversations that the jubilant Indian players shared on the ground, not at least, until Rishabh Pant gave us a glimpse.
