The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 schedule is out and it is all set to start in Ahmedabad, India with reigning champions England taking New Zealand in the opening match.

India begin their campaign against Australia as they face them at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

A total of 10 venues across the country will host 48 matches. The 10 venues are Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Lucknow, Dharamsala, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.

The semi-finals will be held in Mumbai and Kolkata and the final will be hosted by the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Where will India play their ICC Cricket World Cup league stage matches?

Nine out of 10 venues will get to host India's matches in the league. Only the Rajeev Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad will not host any of India's games in the World Cup.

Ahmedabad will host India versus Pakistan while India's opening match against Australia will be held in Chennai.

If India reach the semi-final they will play their game at the Wankhede Stadium. In case Pakistan reach the semi-final and face India, then the match will be shifted to Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
