Stuart Broad praises Harry Brook after outrageous six

Former England fast bowler Stuart Broad was among those who couldn't hold back their admiration. Taking to social media, Broad suggested Brook might be on a different level compared to previous English batters.

"He might just be the best batter we've ever produced you know, Harry Brook. Big shout so I don't say it lightly," Broad wrote on X.

The comment followed Brook's audacious first-ball six against Tim Southee. Walking in after Michael Pepper's dismissal, Brook shaped for a reverse hit before switching mid-motion to scoop the ball over Joe Clarke's head for six.

The improvisation not only cleared the ropes but also sent Brook tumbling to the ground, leaving Headingley in awe.

Brook went on to finish unbeaten on 31 from just 14 balls - guiding his side to 193 for 5. Birmingham Phoenix couldn't chase the target and fell short by 36 runs.

This latest display follows similar moments in international cricket - including his acrobatic six against India some time back. With praise now coming from one of England's most respected voices in Stuart Broad, Brook's reputation as a generational batting talent continues to gather momentum.
