The recent episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show had plenty of laughs -- with Indian cricket stars Rishabh Pant and Gautam Gambhir joining in on the fun. The two shared stories, joked around and took a few light-hearted shots at their teammates.
But the moment that got everyone laughing came when Pant made a playful comment about Rohit Sharma. It prompted Gambhir to jump in with a quick-witted response of his own.

Pant was asked who in the Indian dressing room acted like a typical 'jethani' - the family member who throws their weight around and calls the shots. Without missing a beat, Pant took Rohit Sharma's name, saying the former captain could be a bit "bossy" at times, especially with his seniority in the team.
Gautam Gambhir's hilarious reaction to Rishabh Pant labelling Rohit Sharma as bossy
As the audience burst into laughter, Gautam Gambhir - now India's head coach, didn't let the moment pass without a quip of his own.
Referring to Rohit's recent retirement from Test cricket, Gambhir said, "Ab toh retire ho gaya. Haan haan, lo le lo naam ab." ("Now that he’s retired, go ahead and take his name!")

Rohit Sharma enjoying time away from the spotlight
Rohit Sharma recently stepped away from Test cricket. He announced his retirement in early May after India's home season. The decision followed reports suggesting a possible change in leadership ahead of the England tour.
Despite showing interest in playing the series earlier, Rohit opted out and is currently vacationing in Italy with his family. With the ODI tour of Bangladesh cancelled, Rohit is likely to return to action in October - unless India schedules another limited-overs series before that.
