As India and England get ready for their red-ball series at Headingley, former England captain Jos Buttler has shared his personal favourites from India. And unsurprisingly, MS Dhoni leads the list.
Speaking in a Q&A posted by Instagram handle From the Love of Cricket, Buttler answered a string of rapid-fire questions ahead of the five-match Test series.

What did Jos Buttler say about his favourite Indian cricketer?
Buttler is a wicketkeeper himself and is one of the most explosive batters in white-ball cricket. He didn't hesitate when asked about his favourite Indian cricketer.
"Favourite Indian cricketer, as a wicketkeeper is obviously MS Dhoni," he said.
It's a sentiment shared across generations. Dhoni’s calmness under pressure, lightning-fast glovework and ability to win games out of nowhere has left an impression on countless players - Buttler included.
When asked about his favourite Indian meal, Buttler revealed his taste has been shaped by his multiple tours of the country.
"Favourite Indian meal is paneer curry. Any of the curries, but yeah, I got really into paneer in my time in India," he answered.
His favourite stadium? The iconic Wankhede in Mumbai. Not for its reputation but for a specific memory.
"Favourite Indian stadium is Mumbai Wankhede Stadium. Mostly because of a really memorable chase in the T20 World Cup when we chased down about 230 against South Africa," he shared.
Buttler also named Bollywood star Ranveer Singh as his favourite actor. He recalled his high-energy performance at the IPL final opening ceremony - a match Buttler himself played in.
"He did the opening ceremony of the IPL final that I played in and it was awesome," he said.
Buttler is also backing his former teammates hard for the ongoing series. His scoreline prediction?
"England 4-1."
It’s a bold call but with Bazball in full swing and India undergoing a transition, England will fancy their chances at home.
