Delhi Premier League is a franchise-based T20 cricket league organized by the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA). The second edition of the league is all set to begin on August 2 and will go through August 31.
The league will be contested amongst eight teams representing different zones of Delhi. East Delhi Riders were crowned as the champions of the inaugural season and will be fighting to defend their title this season.

The tournament will feature eight teams competing in a round-robin format. Each team will play the other team twice during the league stage. A total of 44 league games will be played and the top 4 teams will advance to the knockouts.
