Mohammed Siraj is the only Indian speedster to have featured in all the matches of the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, with 139 overs bowled in seven innings.
In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah at Edgbaston, the bowler shouldered the responsibility to lead the bowling attack and took 6/70 in the first innings, guiding India to a big win.
After Bumrah was advised to play only three Tests on this tour, the bowler is expected to rest for the Oval Test to prevent any back issues.
