Tim David became Australia's fastest centurion in T20I cricket with a century in just 37 balls against the West Indies at Basseterre on July 25.

The century came at a winning cause when the visitors chased down 215 runs in the third T20I of the series and ended up clinching the series 3-0, with two matches still to be played.

David came in to bat at number 5, with 66/3 on the scorecard under 6 overs and played his natural game, taking on the bowlers to help Australia chase 215 in just 16.1 overs.

He got to his century on the final ball of the chase with a four. In his unbeaten knock of 102 runs, he scored 11 maximums and 6 fours.

In the process of getting the century, he overtook the likes of Sanju Samson and Johnson Charles in the list of fastest T20I centuries for players from ICC full member nations.

Who has scored the fastest T20I century among ICC full-member nations?

Sikandar Raza holds the record for scoring the fastest T20I century among the ICC's full-member nations, when he got a 133*(43) against Gambia in October 2024.

He broke Rohit's seven-year-old record (35 balls) in the game on that day.
