Ben Stokes mentions the India vs England series to be special
The Anderson-Tendulkar trophy between India and England has definitely reignited the passion and love for Test cricket. The series produced 25 days of thrilling cricketing action, with each game going to the last day, with all results possible.
Talking to the press, Stokes mentioned his experience of playing such a high-voltage series. The English skipper said,
"It's been a pretty special one to be a part of, it's been full of ups and downs...throughout every game. India have been in control, we have been in control...to be part of it and be able to experience five games like this has been pretty special.
The series saw a lot of ups and downs for both sides. After England's victory in the first Test, India came back strongly to win the second at Edgbaston. The verbal battles thrown by the Indian skipper reunited England at Lord's, who went on to win a thrilling encounter.
Manchester again produced a thriller, with India staging a comeback on the final day to draw the Test, after England's dominance in the first four days. And the fifth Test, probably the best of them all, which again saw India stamp their authority and stage a comeback for the ages.

Stokes compares the India vs England series to the Ashes 2023
The English skipper compared the nerve-racking series with the Ashes against Australia that concluded 2 years ago. Stokes feels that such a series is a great advertisement for Test cricket and help to promote the game.
"We had a similar situation like this in the 2023 Ashes when we had to come here (Oval) and win the game, and that again was a special series to be part of. That was 2-2, this was 2-2, it's been awesome to be part of. Obviously, there's a feel of disappointment, but...for the wider game, we want to be promoting the game, and this series has been great for that," added Stokes
