Sparks' Cameron Brink reveals her injury timeline to return from ACL tear image

Cameron Brink has yet to play this season for the Los Angeles Sparks.

The talented second-year forward from Stanford underwent surgery on a torn left ACL in July 2024.

Brink recently spoke to Spectrum SportsNet to share an update on her return.

"I'm feeling good," Brink said. "It's gonna take a little bit until I'm back out there."

Brink feels she has learned from this experience, though.

"I've just learned the power of having a great attitude and a resilient mind and attacking each day with an edge," Brink said. "I've definitely grown a lot mentally. It hasn't been easy."

Brink was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft behind Caitlin Clark.

She played 15 games before her injury, averaging 21.9 minutes per night. She put up 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Eventually, Brink will be back on the court building toward being one of the best players in the league.

She's stronger for having been injured, and the Sparks surely can't wait to get her back.
