The Paige Bueckers vs. Caitlin Clark showdown will have to wait. The Dallas Wings were set to host the Indiana Fever at American Airlines Center, home of the Mavericks, but unfortunately, Clark is out with a groin injury and will not play.
Before the game, while Clark stood on the sideline encouraging her teammates during warmups, Bueckers was going through her own pregame routine. After finishing her time on the court, Bueckers was swarmed by a sea of Dallas fans, and she made sure to give them some attention.

For Clark, this is already the seventh game she has missed this season. Her left groin injury previously sidelined her for five straight games earlier in the month. The former Iowa star is still leading the Fever with 18.2 points per game, just ahead of Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston.
Clark and the Wings are scheduled to meet again on July 13, this time at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Bueckers and Clark may also meet soon at the WNBA All-Star Game.
Indiana enters the game at 6–7, while Dallas sits at 4–12.
