Lexie Hull is one of Caitlin Clark's favorite teammates.
It turns out, at least in the early going, the Indiana Fever's talented reserve might also be the best teammate in the entire WNBA.
How? Hull leads the league in plus-minus. The Fever are better relative to their opponent with Hull on the court than any other team is with any other player.
Of course, it's an early season small sample size. It's also rather impressive.
The top-five on the plus-minus list:
- Lexie Hull, +51
- Napheesa Collier, +49
- Natasha Howard, +38
- Courtney Williams, +37
- Jessica Shepard, +36

That's two Fever players, Hull and Howard, with three Lynx standouts.
Clearly, a couple of early-season blowouts can help in this stat. But Hull is still well above everyone except for the season's best player so far, Collier.
The remarkable thing about Hull is that she influences games so positively without crazy statistics.

In 26.1 minutes per game, she's averaging 8.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game. She has made 42.9% of her 3s in the very early going.
For Clark and the Fever to ascend the mountaintop, they'll need their bench players to step up when called upon.
So far this season, no one has done that better than Hull.
