The 88th edition of the Tour de Suisse men's race is set to kick off on June 15, 2025, the same day the Critérium du Dauphiné concludes. This eight-stage WorldTour event, running until June 22, will serve as a crucial final tune-up for many riders eyeing the Tour de France, which starts two weeks later.

The course covers approximately 1,300 kilometers (roughly 808 miles) with over 20,000 meters of elevation gain, featuring four hilly stages, two challenging mountain stages, a flat stage, and a decisive individual time trial on the final day. Twenty-two teams are expected to participate, though the full entry list is still being finalized.

João Almeida (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) emerges as the top favorite for the general classification, especially with defending champion Adam Yates not participating and Tadej Pogačar, Jonas Vingegaard, and Remco Evenepoel opting for the Critéritérium du Dauphiné. Almeida, last year's runner-up, has shown strong form this season with GC victories at the Tour de Romandie and Itzulia Basque Country.
