With Canada Basketball firmly in its golden era, a large aspect of the program's direction is player development.

In 2023, the program captured bronze at the FIBA World Cup, and although it fell short of medaling at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, Team Canada is still trending upward. Next up for the program is the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup in Managua, Nicaragua.

Aligned with the spirit of player development, the 2025 Team Canada roster will feature a blend of the program's up-and-comers and veteran mainstays who have helped the program get to where it is today. More important, it's a group capable of taking home the tournament's ultimate prize.

Here is everything to know about Canada's roster at the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup Tournament.

Team Canada's roster is headlined by Wizards wing Kyshawn George and Timberwolves forward Leonard Miller. George is making his Team Canada debut after a standout rookie season in Washington, while Miller has an opportunity to display growth ahead of his third NBA campaign.

The training camp roster is complete with some familiar faces, including national team veterans Trae Bell-Haynes and Kyle Wiltjer. Among the crop of key young players are Charles Bediako and former first-round NBA Draft pick Mfiondu Kabengele.

As the national team program seeks more reliable size for tournaments down the line, Bediako and Kabengele have an opportunity to show and prove in 2025.
