Major changes are coming at Fox Sports, but Joy Taylor will not be a part of the network's plans.

Taylor is out at the network amid cancellations of some of its flagship programs, according to The Athletic's Andrew Marchand. The news ends a near-decade run with Fox Sports, as Taylor first joined the network in 2016 while taking on various roles.

In September 2022, Taylor began her role as the co-host of "Speak," which she held at the time of the most recent update. This continues to be a tumultuous year for Fox Sports, which was the subject of a workplace misconduct lawsuit in January, with Taylor implicated within.

Here is everything to know about Fox Sports' decision to move on from Taylor, the cancellations, and the workplace misconduct lawsuit from earlier in the year.

Why is Joy Taylor leaving Fox Sports?

Fox Sports parted ways with Taylor as part of a series of cancellations. Among those cancellations is "Speak," the show Taylor co-hosts alongside Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce.

Marchand reports that the network chose not to renew Taylor's contract, which is up this year.

"Speak" is among three FS1 programs that were canceled because of a struggle to cultivate a large audience. As a consequence of low ratings, the shows were canceled and Taylor will no longer be with the network.

Fox Sports lawsuit

Taylor was a subject in a workplace misconduct lawsuit filed by hairstylist Noushin Faraji against Fox Sports in January.

In the suit, Taylor is accused of insulting Faraji on a personal and professional level, also telling her to "get over it" when the hair stylist reported alleged sexual harassment by Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon.

Taylor is alleged to have had a sexual relationship with both Dixon and Emmanuel Acho at the same time. The lawsuit states Taylor said she would report Dixon's misconduct to the network "once [he] was no longer useful to her."

Also mentioned in the suit were former "Undisputed" host Skip Bayless and behind-the-scenes employee Bobby Diaz.

Was Joy Taylor suspended?

Taylor was "sidelined" by Fox Sports in late February, according to a Front Office Sports report. The network declined to offer any further comment on the nature of the apparent suspension.

She was off air for two weeks before returning as the host of "Speak" on Monday, March 10.

Other FS1 cancellations

In addition to "Speak," FS1 morning shows "Breakfast Ball" and "The Facility" will also be cancelled.

The three shows were created under Dixon, who has been out at FS1 since late April. As mentioned above, each of the three shows that will be cancelled struggled to find a large audience, prompting the network to go in another direction.

Fox Sports has not offered a comment on the situation.
